“UA! UA! – Artists for Ukraine” will showcase the creative community through a curated fundraiser market of in-house and local fine artists selling their own, original works – all for charity purposes.

🟡 All profits from the UA! UA! event and entrance fees will go to a humanitarian organization operating closely with Ukrainians in need of evacuation, resettlement and psychological aid.

Pop-up kitchen highlighting Borshch (борщ) – an invigorating and beautifully hued soup with origins in Ukrainian cuisine. While there are countless regional variations, most borshch has a base of beetroot in a subtly sour broth. We will be serving this delicious heartwarming dish throughout the whole event.

500+ is a collaboration of 13 international Illustrators carrying the message of hope for the end of this terrible war and support to the brave people of Ukraine.

Limited edition fundraising exhibition/sale of Risograph posters, where all the income will be donated to VOSTOK SOS 🟡 The posters are available to purchase at OKNA and across Porto’s most important art shops and galleries. Price of 10€ each.

Ella Mežule (Latvia) has been working as a freelance illustrator for a variety of projects like cover illustrations and designs for music albums, posters, infographics, book illustrations, editorials, murals, illustrations for animation style, and much more. She is presenting a unique illustration workshop and invites the participants to bring a piece of white fabric (t-shirt, tote bag, etc.) that will be printed on.

Porto local DJ and producer plastico started his DJing days playing soul and disco records in Hong Kong, with a passion for exploring all flavors of electronic and dance music. He will prepare a 2-hour set, taking us on a musical journey based on his extensive collection on vinyls.

“UA! UA! – Artists for Ukraine” presents the performance камінь від серця/Stone from the heart, created by Angelika Czubasiewicz (Poland), together with the sound of Velge Naturlig (Portugal). 

The performance presents a symbolic ritual of collective releasing and healing. It is an introspective journey, a chance to welcome your fears, hug them and say goodbye. The public is invited to bring a piece of paper where they write down any troubling thoughts, pains, issues that they want to let go of. 

During the performance the audience will sit on the floor. To feel comfortable, you can bring a blanket/pillow.
