An amalgam is a mixture or blend of some sort. ArtAmalgam is a blend of arts, a mixture of styles and themes which makes an unity that will surprise and inspire us!
Each edition, the exhibition will present artists from different Eastern European countries.
With a rising number of young talents, that deserve to be praised for their stunning artwork, the Baltic region caught our eye. This way, we dedicate the starting point of ArtAmalgam’s journey to artists from Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia, and reveal their artistic identity and uniqueness. Through Lena Klyukina’s (Latvia/Lithuania) works that explore the connection between the beautiful and the morbid, Mirjam Siim’s (Estonia) “Inspired by nature” paintings, or Eglė Plytnikaitė’s (Lithuania) illustrations about feminism and environmental issues, ArtAmalgam will bring us one step closer to a new generation of artists.
The opening event of ArtAmalgam will also have the screening of three shorts of 3 artists from the Baltics.
