Teresa Vieira
утопія / Utopia: uma triko(to)m(ia) na memória
07.04 – 07.05 2018 | Curated by Rita Marinho

“Utopia” was born from the inner desire of exploring lives, spaces, lost times frozen in the memory of the old Soviet Union. A memory that remains intact, frozen in a time in which history dictates us to revisit the past. A time where “time doesn’t know how much time time has”: an uncertain future of (not so) invisible enemies plaguing our fate as individuals, but also as a society, above everything else.

Teresa Vieira, born in ‘93, Ma in Communication and Arts, works as an Office Manager in Phenomen Films (Russian Film Producer based in London) and as a freelance designer of the European Parliament’s Information Office in Lisbon. Art is the cornerstone of her life and an essencial base of her personal interests. Developing projects (journalistic, academic and/or volunteer work) related with cinema and performance art since 2013, Teresa has been developing her professional experience in the area of Communication (European Parliament, Junta de Freguesia da Estrela, amongst others). Writing is her main form of self-expression, whilst video and photography walk along with her step by step, guiding her on the paths still to roam.
